  • 2 cups diced apples

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
  4. Stir in vanilla and sour cream, then gradually add the dry ingredients.
  5. Fold in the diced apples.
  6. Scoop batter into muffin tins, filling them about 2/3 full.
  7. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, oatmeal, flour, and nutmeg for the crumb topping; sprinkle over the batter.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
