Caramel Frosted Zucchini Pecan Bars

  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Stir in grated zucchini and chopped pecans.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into wet ingredients.
  5. Spread batter into prepared pan and bake for 25–30 minutes.
  6. Let cool and top with caramel sauce before serving.
