  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pre-made tart shell
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add sliced onions, and cook until caramelized.
  3. Add turkey bacon to the skillet and cook until crisp. Remove from heat.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cream, salt, pepper, and thyme.
  5. Place the tart shell on a baking sheet, layer with onions and bacon, then pour the egg mixture over.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes until set and golden brown.
