- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp sugar (for rolling)
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon (for rolling)
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together.
- Roll dough into balls, then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
