  • 1 cup turkey bacon, chopped
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. Add chicken broth to the pot and bring to a boil.
  3. Stir in the cooked chicken and mixed vegetables.
  4. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add melted butter and milk to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling mixture into the boiling broth.
  7. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
  8. Stir in the crispy turkey bacon before serving.
