Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.
  2. Add the chicken breast and cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the pot.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Stir in milk and form a dough.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough into the boiling broth.
  8. Add mixed vegetables and simmer for 15 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through.
