  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup chicken ham, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook, stirring constantly for about 2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in milk and bring to a simmer. Stir in cheddar and mozzarella until melted.
  5. Add the cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, chicken ham, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with breadcrumbs if using.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  8. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
