Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta

A delicious twist on classic pasta with a creamy Cajun sauce and savory turkey bacon.

  • 8 ounces fettuccine
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Add chopped turkey bacon to the skillet and cook until crispy.
  4. Stir in Cajun seasoning, bell pepper, onion, and garlic; sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Mix in Parmesan cheese until melted and well combined.
  7. Add cooked fettuccine; toss to coat evenly.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra spice, add red pepper flakes to taste.
