  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound carrots
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  4. Remove chicken and add heavy cream to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the pan.
  5. Simmer the cream for a few minutes until it thickens slightly.
  6. For the mashed potatoes, boil peeled and chopped potatoes in salted water until tender.
  7. Drain and mash potatoes with butter, salt, and pepper.
  8. For the glazed carrots, cook sliced carrots in butter and brown sugar until tender and caramelized.
  9. Serve the chicken with creamy sauce, mashed potatoes, and glazed carrots.
