Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook turkey bacon until crisp, then remove and crumble.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  3. Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in mushrooms and cook until tender.
  5. Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and bring to a simmer.
  6. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream until smooth.
  7. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain.
  8. Serve beef mixture over noodles, garnished with crumbled turkey bacon.

Notes

  • This dish can be made ahead of time and reheated.
  • For a thicker sauce, add more sour cream.
