Harry Potter Butterbeer Cake

A delicious and easy-to-make Butterbeer cake inspired by the Harry Potter series.

  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup cream soda
  • 1 cup butterscotch sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, melted butter, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then add the cream soda and butterscotch sauce.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool before serving, optionally drizzled with butterscotch sauce.
