Healthy Breakfast Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sliced apples
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix sliced apples with half of the maple syrup and cinnamon. Transfer to a baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine rolled oats, almond flour, remaining maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut oil, and walnuts to make the crumble topping.
  4. Spread the crumble mixture over the apples evenly.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
