Irresistible Spicy Honey Pepper Chicken with Mac and Cheese

  • 2 pounds chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix honey and red pepper flakes.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs with the honey mixture and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions.
  6. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, then stir in flour.
  7. Add milk gradually, stirring until thickened.
  8. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted.
  9. Combine macaroni and cheese sauce, and season with salt and pepper.
  10. Serve chicken over mac and cheese.
