- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- Add olive oil and chopped onions to the pot, sauté until onions are translucent.
- Add broccoli florets and garlic powder, and stir to combine.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer until broccoli is tender.
- Using an immersion blender, blend the soup until smooth.
