Lavender Lemonade: The Refreshing Twist You Didn’t Know You Needed

Lavender Lemonade

A refreshing twist on classic lemonade using lavender for a unique flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
  • ice for serving
  • fresh lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the dried lavender. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Strain the lavender syrup into a bowl, discarding the lavender buds.
  3. In a pitcher, combine the lavender syrup, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir well.
  4. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh lavender sprigs.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
  • Lavender can be overpowering, so use it sparingly according to your taste preference.
