Mint Lemonade

A refreshing drink perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 cups water
  • ice cubes
  • lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine mint leaves and sugar with 1 cup of water. Bring to a simmer.
  2. Remove from heat and let it steep for 30 minutes.
  3. Strain the mint syrup into a pitcher, discarding the mint leaves.
  4. Add lemon juice and the remaining water, stirring well.
  5. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices.

Notes

  • For an extra touch, add a splash of sparkling water.
