- 2 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 medium carrots, chopped
- 3 potatoes, quartered
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Season the beef chuck roast with salt and black pepper.
- Place the carrots, potatoes, and onion at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Put the seasoned roast on top of the vegetables.
- In a bowl, mix together beef broth, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
- Pour the mixture over the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Once done, shred the meat with two forks and serve with vegetables.
