  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cabbage by boiling it until the leaves are tender.
  3. In a pan, cook the turkey bacon and onions until onions are translucent.
  4. Add garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Mix in the ground turkey, rice, tomato sauce, and seasonings.
  6. Fill each cabbage leaf with the mixture and roll tightly.
  7. Place the rolls in a baking dish and cover with remaining tomato sauce.
  8. Bake for 45 minutes.
