Stuffed Mini Dosas recipe

A delightful variation on traditional dosas, these stuffed mini dosas are easy to prepare and incredibly delicious.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice flour
  • 1/2 cup urad dal
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh coriander (chopped)
  • 1 green chili (finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. Soak the urad dal for 4-6 hours and then grind it to a smooth batter.
  2. Mix the rice flour, turmeric powder, salt, and cumin seeds in a bowl.
  3. Add the soaked urad dal batter to the rice flour mixture and mix well.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle of the batter to form a small dosa.
  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to lift.
  6. Place a spoonful of mixed vegetables in the center, fold the dosa over and cook for another minute.
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter and filling.

Notes

  • For a spicier filling, add more green chilies.
  • These dosas taste best when served hot.
